The work results from a collaboration among Harvard University, the City of Padova, and the Padova Industrial Zone (ZIP). Under the supervision of Prof. Carl Steinitz, I organized and developed a two-year research project on one of the largest and most significant industrial landscapes in northern Italy. The project dealt with the design of a vast area in Padova, encompassing 1050 hectares of the industrial zone and 190 hectares of green areas (the so-called Roncajette Park). The work primarily focused on water treatment systems and sought to promote a ‘green’ industrial park connected to Padova and the surrounding region.
